Car Seat Adapters

An adapter for the Graco SnugRide® Classic Connect series is currently available for the origami®.

We’re working on additional adapters just as fast as we can! We don’t have firm release dates yet, but as soon as we do, we’ll announce them on our Facebook page.

origami® Color Kits

Everything you need to easily customize your origami® is in the color kit. There are five color choices available.

Bassinet

We expect to have the bassinet accessory for the origami® available this fall. As soon as we have a launch date, we’ll announce it on our Facebook page.

Handlebar Bag & Cell Phone Charger

Charge your cell phone or any USB-compatible device with the origami® stroller’s cell phone charger; just plug the barrel end into the LCD and the other end into your device’s charging cord and you can charge as you push. Attach the 3-pocket handlebar bag for even more storage: it’s a great place to keep your phone, keys and other personal items.

Double Stroller

We’re always working on exciting new products and this is one of them - but we don’t have any more news than that right now. Keep an eye on our Facebook page or sign up to be a 4moms Insider for updates.

TROUBLESHOOTING

origami® Features: The Basics

The origami® is a unique stroller. Watch the video below to learn more about some of the commonly used features of the origami®.

Dial won't turn

There is a lock switch located at the base of the Activation Dial (shown below). Slide the switch up to lock the dial and down to unlock it.

Dial_turn

My phone’s not getting charged

To conserve battery life, the origami® will stop charging your phone whenever the stroller is stationary.

If your stroller battery level is below a certain level, your phone won’t get charged. Just keep walking and once your battery level has risen enough, your phone will start charging again automatically.

Battery Charging

For peak battery performance, it's best to charge your origami® stroller using a wall outlet about once every two weeks.

Lots of things can affect the life of a battery charge including, the number of times you open and fold the stroller, time between uses, and even the temperature outside.

Manual mode

Follow the instructions on page 20 of the origami instruction manual or watch the videos below.

How do I know it's charging as I walk?

When the stroller's charging, the battery indicator in the upper left corner of the LCD will cycle from empty to full repeatedly. Charging stops when the stroller is stationary.

Locating an error code

The four digits of your origami® stroller’s lifetime odometer will display the error code that Customer Support will need to help you troubleshoot.

Error Code: 100

Error Code 100 occurs if you are trying to power-fold your stroller while the stroller is plugged into a power supply.

Unplug your stroller from the power supply before attempting to power fold or un-fold. If there are no other error codes on the LCD screen, it is safe to use your stroller, and the code 100 error should clear itself

What age of child can the origami® be used with?

The origami® stroller seat is meant to be used for babies who are old enough to sit up on their own - often at around six months of age. For use with younger babies, including newborns, we offer a car seat adapter compatible with the Graco SnugRide® series of infant carriers, available at our web store.

How do I change the child icon on the LCD screen from boy to girl?

Turn and hold the Activation Dial until the light turns off, then release. Turn and release the dial to toggle between bow/no bow - then press the button to select.

HOW TO HANDLE "STROLLER ENVY"

So, in case you want your friends, family and perfect strangers to love this stroller as much as you do, we’d love to send you “courtesy cards” with 4moms and origami® information which you can hand out while you’re out strolling.

TROUBLESHOOTING

End cap is stuck

If you installed your end cap before threading the central rail through your base, don’t worry! You can remove the end cap by depressing the ball lock (located on the “bottom” of the end cap, in the center along the flat edge). A small screwdriver will work to depress the ball lock - sometimes you’ll need to wiggle it to depress the ball lock, move the end cap slightly, remove the tool, and then slide the cap the rest of the way off. If you’re having trouble, please don’t hesitate to contact us at customer support!

Toy bar adjustment

For 2010 and 2011 models (see pictures of models below!), the toy bar is designed to be loose-fitting for safety reasons (so it can’t be used as a handle). It’s soft, light, and has no small parts so there’s no risk to your child should it fall into the seat. It can get a little droopy over time, though, so to restore some spring, just remove it and bend it backwards before replacing.

For the 2012 mamaRoo® and later, the toy bar installs by inserting backwards and rotating it into place.

Songs & sounds aren’t playing

The built-in songs and sounds won’t play when the mp3 cord is plugged into your music device, so check that first. If that’s not the issue, take a look at your volume control and make sure it isn’t stuck between two levels.

If neither of those solve your problem, contact us at support@4moms.com.

Obstruction message/stopped moving?

If your mamaRoo® is displaying an obstruction message when there’s no obstruction, has stopped moving, or doesn’t seem to be working as it should, contact us at support@4moms.com.

DIFFERENCES BETWEEN CLASSIC AND PLUSH

The Classic and Plush mamaRoo® infant seats are identical in every way except for their seat fabrics. The Classic fabric is nylon and comes in silver or black, and the Plush fabric is a softer plush available in four patterns. Both are easily removable, spot- or machine-washable, durable, and comfortable.

If you can’t decide and want both,
you can purchase extra seat fabrics separately.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Unit has stopped and light ring
flashed briefly.

Check for any obstruction that may have blocked seat motion. Clear the obstruction and press the button to resume. If this doesn't resolve the issue, the child may have been placed too high or too low in the seat. Adjust the position of the child and press the button to resume.

For a video showing proper and improper child placement, click here .

The unit doesn't turn on.

Check that the unit is connected to a power source.

I can't hear music from an attached music playing device.

Try adjusting the volume on the music playing device. If it still doesn't work, check to make sure the MP3 cord is plugged in completely on both ends.

The toy bar won't go in completely.

Make sure the toy bar is pointing to the side (at a 90° angle) when you place it in the hole. Press down and rotate the toy bar to the front. If it still doesn't work, try pointing the toy bar towards the other side before rotating it to the front.

The lever won't go down when
I press on it.

In order to ensure a secure connection the lever needs to be pressed with a certain amount of force. Try pressing down with additional force.

I can't get the seat ring to come out during disassembly.

Use the end of the MP3 cord to press into the hole and compress the round lock feature. With it still compressed, lift that end of the seat ring off the base. Repeat for the other end.

The speed does not increase when I adjust the knob to right.

Check the position of the child in the seat. If the child is positioned too far forward or too far back, adjust their position and wait a few seconds for the speed to adjust.
